Mermoz opens its doors: 25 lawyers and multiple skills serving the mid-market

New player in the world of law, Mermoz is an independent law firm offering a plural offer in business law. With a strong transactional focus and recognized know-how in private equity on the mid-market segment, Mermoz is also a human adventure bringing together from its creation 8 partners, 16 employees and 4 support professionals.

A unifying project built for mid-market players

The project, originally led by the duo composed of Gilles Roux and Tristan Segonds in transactional operations (private equity in particular), was quickly approved by their closest associates and collaborators: Catherine Nahmias-Ferrandini in employment law, Arnaud Levasseur in private equity/M&A and Martin Kyuchukov in financing.

Very quickly, several colleagues with whom they had worked closely for several years wanted to take part in the take-off of Mermoz: Laurent Ragot, Counsel at Hogan Lovells in taxation, Olivier Péchenard and his team from the eponymous firm in restructuring and business litigation and Régis Mahieu from Aperwin firm with its collaborators in complex contractual practices and personal data.

Gilles Roux, partner, specifies:“This first step is the springboard for an ambitious project which aims to grow and bring together an even more complete team to meet the challenges of development in France and internationally for our clients. »“With the creation of Mermoz, we want to embark our teams on an adventure full of challenges to be met and constructive collaboration with our customers. »adds Tristan Segonds, partner.

A resolutely collective approach geared towards the achievement of clients’ ambitions.

More than a law firm, the partners have the ambition to be THE legal partner of their clients on their operations and all of their strategic projects.

“We rely on the diversity of our experiences, reinforced by long working habits between teams, on our curiosity and on our involvement at the heart of cases, to build lasting relationships of trust with our clients. »Catherine Nahmias-Ferrandini, Partner and Managing Partner, explains.

Mermoz covers the main segments of business law in advice and litigation and works for financial investors as well as for industrial groups, service companies or managers, founders and entrepreneurs, in all sectors of activity, including within regulated environments (particularly in health, aeronautics, financial services, education, agri-food, energy and new technologies, etc.).

The teams whose experience is recognized on the market recently intervened, in 2021, in significant operations such as Domus VI during the investment of Arkéa, Macif and BPI, the LBO operation on the Point Vision group (listed founders), the LBO Ter of Sandaya, the LBO of Plug In Digital or the secondary LBOs of Fondasol and Teknimed.
