A friend arrives for the first time in Liège, where do you take him?
In the historic heart of the city: Féronstrée, the quai de la Batte, the place Saint-Barthélemy… Neighborhoods that I really like, quite lively.
When you are not in your restaurant, where do you like to eat?
With my best friend, Thierry Marée, at the Bistrot opposite. There is the typically Liège warm side. Thierry works indoors and he creates a crazy atmosphere! We eat well and at fair prices.
Address ? 8 rue de la Goffe, 4000 Liège.
A restaurant where you dream of being invited?
At Glenn Viel’s at Oustau de Baumanière of course (laughs). I want to better discover his universe, to see him at work in his home.
Address ? D27, 13520 Les Baux-de-Provence, France.

A gourmet address in Liège that catches your eye?
Le Caudalie, in the Carré, of which I have been told the greatest good.
Address ? 6 rue Saint-Jean-en-Isle, 4000 Liège.
Shall we go for a drink?
Without hesitation, we go to Ô’ Wine on the Place Verte. A wine bar run by atypical people, in a light atmosphere and once again… very Liège!
Address ? 6 Place Verte, 4000 Liège.
For beautiful dishes, where do you recommend we go?
At Sélection, an institution: there is a fine selection of objects for the table. But also decorative items for the home. They show great expertise.
Address ? 24/26/28 Passage Lemonnier, 4000 Liège.
Need a last minute gift, where are you sure to find the rare pearl?
At Selection. Or I go to my friend Jean-Christophe Hubert, owner of Millésime Chocolat. A passionate craftsman, super green… He goes to get his beans from the other side of the world and brings them back by sailboat to reduce his carbon footprint! And for a bouquet of flowers, I go to Parilis.
Addresses? 40 rue Cockerill, 4100 Seraing; 5 rue Hemricourt, 4000 Liege.
A place you like to go without a specific goal?
The Parc de la Boverie, a magical place with a large green space, water, a super glacier, the museum…
An essential walk?
The RAVel behind the Belle-Île shopping area, which goes to Tilff through the locks; the route is superb and can be done by bike or on foot.
Need to disconnect, what do you do?
I switch off my cell phone and either get on my mountain bike and go to the fields near Tongeren, or I go have a drink with some friends in Maastricht. If I have more time, I go to the Coast and depending on my mood, I go to Ostend, for the cool atmosphere, or to Knokke, for its food side.
